| Plainville
8-0 @ Lacrosse 8-0 |
| Back on October 7, 2009 do you suppose
the KSHSAA had any idea that Plainville and Lacrosse would both be 8-0
going into week 9 for their game on October 27, 2011? There wasn't a
chance Rick Bowden thought that two years ago. Plainville is one of
the surprise teams of 2011 in our state of Kansas and it is a great
surprise. I get tired of typing in blowout games every week for
teams from all across the state on each teams schedule and scores.
Hopefully this week these two teams will put on a real show of high
school football for all the fine folks who show up to watch the game
in Lacrosse. Oh lets see my prediction is a high scoring game that
goes into 14 overtimes and all players collapses of exhaustion on the
field. Several fans faint when one team scores to put the game into
the 14th overtime period. Two of the refs cramp up and must be removed
from the field and the crew finishes short some members.
All fun aside I do think this game will be quite a high school
football game. Good luck to both squads and you had better have your
shoes laces double tied tight because somebody is going to try and
decleat someone in this game! |
