The new rankings will be up each week on
Tuesday during the regular season usually by noon sometimes a little later. To be listed as another team below the top 5 you must
be listed in the top 5 by 2 of the guys on the ranking team. Sometimes a team will be ranked higher in the Super 10
than in their particular classification since it is two separate polls. |

Kansas Media Ranking Team |
| |
|
First of all let me thank all of
the ranking team members. This has been one of my dreams to get as
many media folks as possible involved in the ranking process from all
across our state. None of us see all the teams each fall but each of
us see a number of teams in our area of the state. When each of us
turn in our thoughts and then mix them together I think we have a
better handle of who overall should be ranked than if each of us went
alone. It is easy to rank teams in your area because you see them more
often. This way our bias gets taken out of the equation in my mind.
Well it is all in fun anyway. The real rankings will take place on the
football field once the playoffs begin. Good luck to your team! |
