I appreciate your website and I have to tell you I have spent countless hours looking it over and searching away. I agree with your rankings and like what I see.  I think you guys have a great site and really do some research on the teams and ask a lot of broadcasters, etc across the state to rank teams. It gives each section of the state a chance to be publicized by their own local radio station/voter. I think it's a great system!!!!!! Have a great week.

My name is Jason Kazar and I am an assistant coach at Manhattan High.  I wanted to tell you about a online trading system that myself and some other schools in the Centennial league have been using because we don't all have the same editing system.  I was thinking this would be a situation other schools, especially small schools, have in the state and could try this program.  The program is called www.dropbox.com and it is a FREE service up to 2GB of online storage.  I included the directions Jimmy Goheen, a coach from JC, and I have come up with to trade film.  I know a lot of schools use a digital camera now and I also know several teams use Hudl as their choice of editing systems.  These directions would get someone introduced to the system and might help them trade film online versus driving long distances to trade a DVD.  Just thought I would try to help some other schools out there and thought your website is a great way to spread the word.

Just looking at the Plainville Cardinals football camp picture. I can still remember being in that camp when Coach Friend was there in the late 1960's. It was the kickoff to football season for the 3rd through 5th graders. That camp is a great memory.
Just watched the Evangel Methodist sermon on 'Lessons from a football Locker Room, very well done. Challenging. I liked it.

I view kansasprepfootball.com daily and thoroughly enjoy it and the reference to articles and interviews - like the recent ones with Coach Dreiling (Hutch) and Diener (Gardner).  Like to keep up on coaching moves as well - like Coach Lowe going to Blue Valley Southwest from Emporia.  It may be a guilty indulgence, but I like to give people information that isn't widely known - yet.  I do not like rumors, just facts - and that's what I feel like I get from your site.
Thank you

I helped the school/team to set up a website for the football team. I see that you have other team sites. I would like to ask if our site can also be listed on Kansasprepfootball.com? This is the link to Wellsville Football site: Wellsville Eagles  FYI,  Kansasprepfootball.com is linked on our site.
Thanks. Love your site, keep it up.

Neither of these are my team (I'm a Hutch fan) but Gardner Edgerton have St Thomas Aquinas at home. Lots of smoke, inflatable helmets, and two quality football teams with a point to prove. This will also preview two playoff teams that will definitely meet again.
Thanks for hosting such an informative and unbiased site. I love to check out what's happening across the state on your site.
Thanks,

I am sending you the new website address for Garden City High School. The current one that is linked is out of date. Kansasprepfootball.com is the best site for coverage of Kansas High School Football. Keep on doing a great job promoting Kansas kids and all of our states football programs. There is not another site that is comparable. Thank You for all that you do to make Kansas Football special.

I sort of expended my blog to cover the entire Sunflower League along with
the main focus of SM West.  I was wondering if you could change the link on
your site from "Shawnee Mission West Blog Site" to something perhaps along
the lines of "Sunflower League Blog Site" or something like that, so I could
get even more expanded traffic on my blog.  Thanks for adding my site to your links list; it
has really boosted the amount of visitors I get to my site on a daily basis. I can
credit Kansasprepfootball.com for opening the floodgates on the amount of
visitors to the site in recent months.
Thanks again,

I have been an avid reader of this site and want to thank you for all of your hard work dedication to Kansas football. After coaching in Southwest Kansas for the last 9 years (6 at Hugoton, 3 at Liberal) I will be taking the Head Football and Athletic Director position at Stilwell Oklahoma (5-A) next season and want to wish you all the best of luck this coming up season.

Just wanted to give you a heads up that I shall be moving out of Kansas at the end of this month. I've taken a position in northwestern Wyoming that I'm pretty sure will put me as close to heaven on earth as one can get (even if I will find myself likely standing on the sidelines in a raging snowstorm at some point during next season.) In any event, I shall no longer be the sports editor at the Holton Recorder and you'll probably want to reflect that with the webpage and ranking team at some point between now and next season. It's been great sharing tales of games and e-mails with you these past years and I wish you and your family all the best in your lives.

I first of all want to thank you for giving high school football in Kansas the coverage you give it. I have not been in Kansas in many years but it is great to look at your website. I think your choice of the Lacrosse/Meade game is real good for this week. I wish I was not 1,000 miles away, I would love to see it. I wanted to give you a little history on those two schools; in 1979 Meade and Lacrosse played in the second round of the playoffs at Fort Hays. Meade was ranked number one in the state and Lacrosse was unranked at the time, it was only the second time for the Leopards to be in the playoffs, I am not sure if the two teams had ever played before, Lacrosse pulled off the upset with 3 TD's in the last 4 minutes. The reason that I am very familiar with the game was that I was the head coach at Lacrosse at the time; my last season there. By the way do you know if any radio station is covering the game; would  love to check it out on the web? Keep up the good work.
Glad to see you are doing a magazine also.

I want to say I'm sorry that you are giving up the 'Kansas Pregame', but I am truly happy for you. I only have a small idea as to how much work you do for the publication and the site, but just doing the weekly website and compiling the rankings always seemed so overwhelming. You took a passion and made it come true. You have started something really cool for others to now take and run with.
Congratulations

I just read an article about you selling the magazine. I really enjoyed how you are putting your family as a priority. I quit coaching football this year for that very reason, we have 3 little ones at home and you never get that time back. I also liked how you talked about Crown Financial, you have done a great job witnessing to people through your website. Keep up the good work.

I just read the article on the web site. I am sorry to see you leave this. I appreciate all you have done for the kids of Kansas. It takes a real man to give up on some of his dreams and worry about what is the most important thing in your life and that is family. There are many times I feel the same way you do during football season. I have 2 little ones and one that just started playing sports and I don’t ever get to be around. So I understand and want to wish you the best of luck.

I am currently the Head Football coach at Bishop Seabury Academy in Lawrence.  We're not in this year's magazine, but I promise to give you any info you need so we can be in next year's edition.  I won't be able to head back west anytime soon, so I would love a copy of the magazine if you could mail me one.  I've read the magazine in the past and you all do a fantastic job putting it together.

I just wanted you guys to know that I have our website back up and running.  The new site address is www.broncsfootball.com  I will try to have stats, pictures, and video on our site by Monday afternoons but I make no promises.  Stats will be my priority though.  Feel free to use any pictures that you find on our site as long as it is in good taste and for the good of the athletes.  I know that I don't have to mention that with you guys as you do a great job and have been an asset for players throughout the state, but particularly in rural and western Kansas where the kids get very little press.  I have really enjoyed your site for the past few years.
Thanks again for all that you guys do.

I wanted to let you know that I enjoy your website for a couple of reasons.  First, the amount of continually updated information makes your site a one-stop destination for accurate Kansas Prep Football news.  Second, I appreciate your honest and informed comments.  You stick to the facts, provide positive feedback, and promote Kansas High School football.

As a football official I like your site in that I can research the teams whose game I am working each week.  I can see how they have played against other teams I may have seen and get an idea of what to expect. This season I have noticed that St. James Academy was not able to field a team in 4A.  The official score of an unplayed forfeited game is not 2-0, as is commonly thought, but 1-0.  2-0 is a score possible to attain so they don't use that score while 1-0 is impossible and thus indicates a forfeit. Under rule 8-1 there is a table covering point values for different actions. Just for your information.  Again thanks for your site.
The anonymous Kansas football official
Tims note: We are fortunate that young men want to stay involved in the game of football and be close to the action. I appreciate your efforts each and every Friday night and thank you for your dedication to the game!

Hi,
You have a follower from the other side of the world. I am a former Great Bend resident living in Changzhou, China and I refer to your website regularly. Thanks for showing such profound interest in Kansas Prep sports. I produced CD Roms entitled, "The History of Liberal Redskin Football" and "The History of Great Bend High School Football" in 1999. I am a high school football fanatic and I graduated from Great Bend in 1977. I have attached a photo plucked from the Great Bend Tribune website showing the celebration following last week's win over Liberal. Great Bend has finally broken the 15 year hammerlock that Liberal has held over Western Kansas (and in a big way, 56-13). Their program has risen from the depths under Coach Black and next week they take on Salina South to decide who will represent Western Kansas against the dreaded foe from the East. I can't think of two more deserving programs! I have kept abreast of the developments in Kansas prep football through the Internet, which is flourishing in China. Oh, how our world has changed. My Chinese friend don't understand my interest in these matters, then again, they don't understand the BCS, either. Nor do I.

Hey Tim!
Congratulations on the Web site.   All I want to say is this:  Remember when we were at Ulysses, I was an assistant for Scott City at the time, and you smacked a bee with a phone book and shattered their press box window?!  Now that's a memory I'll never forget!!
